Rode Parish Council meetings are held in the Rode & District Memorial Hall on the 1st Tuesday of every month. You are very welcome to come along and raise matters directly with the Council.

From October 2020 a new contractor, SUEZ, will be managing weekly recycling of more types of materials. At the same time there will be a move to 3-weekly general refuse collections. Mendip states Recycle More will pick up a wide range of new items each week, including plastic pots, tubs and trays; Tetra Paks and other cartons; small electrical items; and household batteries.
